Certificates of Test / Conformance
Copies of Original Mill Test Reports are provided at no cost for each item ordered. A customized Certificate of Test / Conformance from Brown Metals Company is also available at an additional cost.  The advantages of each offering are listed below. A Certificate of Test / Conformance should be purchased for each individual line item (increase Quantity to match number of line items).

Brown Metals Company Certificate of Test / Conformance provide the following:

• Ability for customization including:
  • Actual width ordered
  • Actual weight ordered
  • Actual customer Purchase Order Number if applicable
  • Customer Part Number if applicable
• Material identification including alloy, temper & thickness
• Actual chemical and mechanical properties
• AMS & ASTM specifications with the most up-to-date revisions possible
• Melt source and country of origin on most items
• Certification of multiple alloys when applicable
  • (Dual certify 302/304 or triple certify 304L/304/302)
• Provides the most complete traceability and chain of custody for Aerospace, Military, Automotive, Medical & Government applications

Mill Test Reports provide the following:

• Material identification including alloy, temper & thickness
• Actual chemical and mechanical properties
• AMS & ASTM specifications (may not always be most recent revision)
• Does not provide full chain of custody and complete traceability

Certificates of Test / Conformance are emailed to the email address provided once the order is shipped.
